modern in the redwoods

In collaboration with architect, Chris Parlette, ECD&D designed a modern treehouse, tucked away in the redwoods of Mill Valley for a family of four. Beginning with a complete gut remodel, our team was brought in to create warm and earthy interiors that complement the sleek, industrial architecture. We especially enjoyed incorporating dynamic furnishings and art pieces, adding touches of edge throughout the space. A few of our favorites; Caroline Lizaragga’s graffiti mural in the entry, a fabulous navy blue felt pool table, and a custom-designed steel and bostogne walnut table crafted by Luke Bartels.
